* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central South Carolina, including the following counties, Bamberg and Orangeburg. * WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1134 AM EDT, river gauge reports upstream along the Edisto River are above flood stage and water is moving downstream. Roughly 6-8 inches of rain fell early in the week. The North Fork of the Edisto River is about to crest, however, water continues to flow through the South Fork of the Edisto River. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Branchville and mainly rural areas of Orangeburg and Bamberg Counties. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
