Description
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Louisiana...

Mississippi River At Baton Rouge affecting East Baton Rouge and
West Baton Rouge Parishes.

Mississippi River At Red River Landing affecting East Baton Rouge,
Pointe Coupee and West Feliciana Parishes.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Baton Rouge.

* WHEN...Until Sunday, May 25.

* IMPACTS...At 38.0 feet, River traffic and industrial activity on
the river side of the levees will be greatly affected.
Navigational safety regulations will be strictly enforced.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 37.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 29.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 37.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday, May 25 and continue falling to 27.9 feet Wednesday,
June 11.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
